Coaching
Introduction to Coaching
As coaches, Tim and Mark help their clients achieve their goals through gaining clear focus, identifying and overcoming challenges, and seeing and taking the next step forward.
Whereas a consultant or mentor draws from their own experience and expertise to supply solutions and well-worn pathways forward, and a counsellor or therapist helps with remediation from mental or emotional difficulty, a coach accompanies clients in the articulation of the client’s own short- and long-term goals, in trusting and strengthening their own skills, and in finding their own answers and next steps, thus helping them unlock their unique potential.
- Provides thoughtful questions that spur constructive reflection
- Is a sounding board for thoughts and ideas
- Creates an encouraging space for exploring goals and possibilities
This form of partnership is empowering, as it enables coaching clients to gain more control over their own aspirations and journey.
Why choose Tim?
Drawing from two decades of experience in business, Tim has honed his ability to generate perceptive, incisive questions that lead to practical solutions. His own experience as an entrepreneur — ten years and counting — and his work with 100+ businesses and non-profits from a wide-range of industries have made him particularly adept at navigating small enterprise challenges and opportunities.
Tim is always learning (a core component of the healthy mindset strengthened through coaching!). He’s interviewed dozens of successful business leaders through organizing LeaderImpact speaker forums, hosting Business as Calling speaker events, and co-hosting the Doing God’s Business podcast.
